New guidance to help employers

The government has issued guidance to help employers, employees and the self-employed to work safely during coronavirus and to help ensure that workplaces are as safe as possible.

How to work safely during Coronavirus

The guidance, which has been prepared in consultation with industry, consists of eight  guides covering a range of different types of work and workplace as follows:

  • Construction and other outdoor work
  • Factories, plants and warehouses
  • Labs and research facilities
  • Offices and contact centres
  • Other people’s homes
  • Restaurants offering takeaway or delivery
  • Shops and branches
  • Vehicles
