Teamwork is our top priority

Our teams work closely together to ensure that you get the right level of support and training from day one. Through both our social events and work culture in the office we encourage everyone to mix across the specialist teams and learn about the roles each team member has in delivering excellent client service.

Work/life balance

Flexibility is important to us and we recognise the benefit to both staff and the firm of offering flexible working hours. Full time staff work 37.5 hours per week and we offer flexible start times between 8am and 9:30am.


We have implemented our Auto-Enrolment workplace pension scheme on a ‘salary sacrifice’ basis and the scheme is fully transferable.


Staff usually start on 20 days’ annual leave, plus an extra ‘Roffe Swayne’ day at Christmas in addition to the usual Bank Holidays. Leave entitlement increases with years of service. Employees have the opportunity to purchase up to an extra week’s annual leave each year. All leave is pro-rated for part-time employees.


We have on-site leisure facilities including badminton courts and table tennis tables as well as table football. These are often utilised at lunchtime and after work by our team. We have a 5-a-side football team which plays each week.  We organise other sports and social evenings both for staff and as networking events with our professional contacts.


The team at Roffe Swayne are keen fundraisers and often organise firm-wide events: Moonwalk, Three Peaks and Snowdon challenge, to name a few as well as cake sales and ‘bake off’ challenges. Each month we have a mufti day.

Personal development

We actively encourage continuing professional development. Regular in-house training is provided on a variety of technical and soft skills using a national training organisation.


We offer optional participation into a private health insurance scheme on a ‘salary sacrifice’ basis. The policy can be extended to include spouses and children. We also offer a cash plan to cover dental and optician costs.
