Justin Bond trained at Grant Thornton and Smith and Williamson, and joined Roffe Swayne in 2014and has over 20 years of experience advising both corporate clients and private individuals.
Justin’s background in both the corporate and personal tax arena allows him to advise shareholders on all aspects of transactions and structuring, while also ensuring a holistic approach is taken to maximise their personal position.
His specialist knowledge has permitted him to undertaken a number of recent assignments on behalf of his clients.
- Assisting a number of newly established businesses with fund raising by successfully arranging for pre-clearance application for SEIS relief to be obtained from H M Revenue & Customs, making the companies more attractive to investors due to the tax reliefs available.
- Preparing and presenting Research and Development claims for various companies across a number of different sectors, which have secured significant tax repayments and tax savings for the companies involved.
- Advising a family business on restructuring and remunerating director/shareholders which will result in tax savings in excess of £800k over the next few years.
- Providing specialist personal tax advice to High Net Worth families with regard to complex tax issues including the use of trusts, succession planning and wealth preservation.
When Justin is not working, he coaches and plays football and enjoys golf and spending time with his family.
