Roffe Swayne were lead advisers to the vendors in the disposal to Churchill Services Group.
Pride Catering operate in the catering industry, providing services across London and the South East.
The acquisition was by the Churchill group. They deliver a range of services including cleaning, reception as well as hospitality services. This acquisition will enable Churchill to further strengthen their market position in the catering sector.
Further to the support provided by Chris Brazier and the wider team Tim Price, an exiting Director and shareholder commented;
“The support from Chris Brazier and the entire Roffe Swayne team was invaluable. For us Chris was a rock in the whole process. He took a very proactive approach to co-ordinating buyer’s accountants and liaising with our solicitors. His commercialism, experience and pragmatism were very reassuring and, in hindsight, invaluable.”
How we helped
Following the successful outcome of the sale of the business, Mark Leigh, head of corporate finance commented; “concluding three deals of this nature in such a short period of time alongside all the other transactions in progress at the moment certainly presented its challenges. It is a very positive testimony to the team that we were able to complete these sales. All of which delivered great value to the exiting shareholders over a very intense couple of weeks. This follows on from a number of other successful transactions for clients over the last few months. It demonstrates not only the strength of the market but also the considerable capabilities and expertise within the team.”
Furthermore, we are continuing to see a strong deal flow and are confident that this will result in even more successful transactions for our clients in the future.
