Achieving value for entrepreneurial business owners
Roffe Swayne’s corporate finance team acted as lead adviser to the vendors in the sale of Earthing Risk Management (ERM) to LSTC.
Led by Chris Brazier, Corporate Finance Director, the team worked closely alongside the founder Neil Pilling over a number of months, providing advice and support throughout the sale process.
ERM is a leading provider of lightning protection, earthing design & inspection services to the electricity industry. The acquisition provides LSTC, a provider of a wide range of services to the power and rail industries, with a complementary suite of services to add to the group’s portfolio.
Neil Pilling, who established the business 14 years ago, will remain within the business under the new ownership alongside his key management team. Neil commented; “I have been very pleased with the service both Chris and wider Roffe Swayne team have provided us with. Chris is highly capable and has always been very supportive, often going above and beyond the service levels I would have expected. I would have no hesitation in recommending Roffe Swayne to other prospective clients looking to sell their business.”
