Lulu has been at Roffe Swayne since the start of her accounting career in 1993. She specialises in working with owner-managed businesses in all financial aspects of their businesses. Her aim is to remove the aggravation and hassle of keeping the books and records from her clients in order to let them get on and do the work they enjoy and are good at.
Lulu works with Scott Harrower heading up the accounts, bookkeeping and management accounts team at Roffe Swayne. The Surrey based team provide accounting support to clients on the completion of their VAT returns, providing the day to day bookkeeping and management accounts. The accounting team also take care of the completion of the annual accounts for filing with either HMRC or Companies House, plus other ad hoc financial support needed by our clients to help them.
- Advised a husband and wife who had recently returned from working abroad and wanted to find out more about setting up a business here. Lulu spent time explaining what it means to be a director of a company and what the company can and can’t do with its money. Following this consultation Lulu managed setting up the new company and registered with both Companies House and HMRC and now provides ongoing bookkeeping support, payroll services, annual accounts and tax returns for the company along with tax returns for the individuals and personal tax advice.
- Worked with an international company who had expanded its operations into Europe. Liaising with European advisers in respect of managing their bookkeeping and payroll services.
When Lulu is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and is a keen netball player along with her three daughters. Lulu enjoys the outdoor life and undertook the Moonwalk in 2015 along with a team from Roffe Swayne. Also was part of a group that climbed Snowdon in aid of the Guildford charity Disability Challengers.
