Roffe Swayne advises on successful management buyout of RDL Corporation

Roffe Swayne's Corporate Finance team is delighted to report that it has completed another successful transaction.

Roffe Swayne advised the management team of RDL Corporation, the European recruitment provider, on their successful management buyout backed by Matrix Capital. Despite the volatile economic backdrop, the successful transaction was completed in early November and comes amid a rebound in the jobs market as market confidence returns.

RDL, specialists in the pharmaceutical, business intelligence and IT sectors, are based in London and Woking and employ 70 staff. The company was established in 1992 and sources staff for over 300 major companies, matching niche professionals with hard to fill contract assignments and staff positions.

Stuart Britton, Managing Director of RDL comments: "An MBO has been the objective of the management team for the last couple of years, and we are delighted to have achieved our goal. The RDL transaction comes towards the back end of what has been a very successful year for the Roffe Swayne Corporate Finance team, they have advised on over a dozen successful transactions for a variety of clients and look to replicate that success in 2011.
