Godalming Chartered Accountants Roffe Swayne are pleased to announce the promotion of Corporate Finance Associate, Matthew Katz, to Partner.
Matthew, who trained with Grant Thornton in London, joined Roffe Swayne in December 2007. He typically assists clients on disposals and acquisitions, as well as fundraising from VC's for MBO and MBI transactions. In addition he regularly advises clients on the negotiation of new and existing banking facilities as well as providing specialist valuation advice, be it for HMRC, divorce or other purposes.
Roffe Swayne is also delighted to welcome Elizabeth Huson to the firm as a Senior Tax Manager.
Elizabeth, who trained with KPMG and worked for them for many years, specialises in tax issues affecting high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs. Her career path began in audit and has led her to her current role of advising private clients on the wide range of tax issues they face including income, capital gains and inheritance taxes. This covers annual reporting requirements and ad hoc issues such as exit and succession planning, structuring of new business interests, employment related securities issues and residence and domicile matters.
Roffe Swayne's Managing Partner, Sharon Ward, said "Matthew's promotion reflects the significant contribution he has made to the continued success of Roffe Swayne. Elizabeth's appointment demonstrates Roffe Swayne's investment in high quality team members which enables us to deliver an outstanding service to our clients".
