GOING UP A GEAR WITH ROFFE SWAYNE

Roffe Swayne, Godalming based Chartered Accountants recently hosted a corporate event with a difference.

 

Instead of the usual chat, wine and canapés they hosted a mountain bike evening for some of their adventurous business clients, local bankers and lawyers.

 

Thirteen intrepid cyclists started off from Peaslake in the Surrey Hills and completed a two hour round trip including various steep climbs and exhilarating descents.

 

All the participants completed the course and enjoyed a post ride dinner at the Hurtwood Hotel.

 

One guest commented,   “I think the format makes a perfect corporate event.  A great change from the usual networking scenario. How wonderful it is to have an event focussed on what I enjoy doing in my spare time.”

 

Mark Leigh from Roffe Swayne added, “The post-ride social at the Hotel was a great chance to share stories from the afternoon and an opportunity to offer our guests some well earned hospitality!”
